

Acoustasonic Tribute
Fender makes a wonderful model called the Acoustasonic that gives you the sound of n acoustic guitar with the light weight, smaller size and playability of an electric guitar. I wanted to see if I could make my own Acoustasonic tribute guitar. It started with an MGB guitars Fattso body kit. I used my Dremel tool as a router to carve out a lip on the top of the body to attach a custom made acoustic guitar spruce top. The top is braced to support the tension of the bridge. I


Bicentennial License Plate Tenor Banjo
Back during the 1976 bicentennial, Michigan issued this beautiful license plate with the stars and stripes. I was going to school at Michigan State at the time and therefore had a plate like this on my Chevy Nova SS. Unfortunately, I didn't keep the plate (or the car), but I found one on eBay that had my wife's initials on it. I used a BC Gitty license plate box lightly stained to make this Tenor Banjo. The neck is a 24" scale bolt on from MGB Guitars. I strung it up with BC
